Falcao breaks SIX year Champions League drought

The former Chelsea and Manchester United forward had not netted in the competition since February 2010 before scoring twice for Monaco against CSKA Moscow

Radamel Falcao’s return to Champions League football this season has not quite gone to plan, but the Colombian’s drought in the competition is finally over.

The former Manchester United and Chelsea striker netted twice in the first half as Monaco put CSKA Moscow to the sword on matchday four.

And his first goal saw him find the net in Europe’s premier club competition for the first time in over six years.
